I started noticing word forms when I was in fifth grade. I would look at billboards and different text styles and try to copy them. Gradually my interest grew in calligraphy. I play around with different tools and techniques. Professionally, I started as a wedding invitations calligrapher. I did that for about 2-3 years. In 2010, I grew interest in Contemporary Islamic Calligraphy. I setup a booth at Islamic Society of North America Convention. I received very good feedback on my art form. I really appreciate all those who encouraged me to pursue my style. I never consider myself to be a professional calligrapher. I am still learning, trying out various styles and techniques and in pursuit of my unique style. Keep checking my work. Thank you.
